Middle Of Day...Best Time For To Observe Birds

I went out to Point Reyes with Seagull Steve yesterday for a trip filled with Great Success.  We tallied at least 131 species and had many highlights.  Good birds were:  Eurasian Wigeon, Ferruginous Hawk, Yellow-shafted Flicker, Black Scoter, Prairie Warbler, Red-necked Grebe, American Tree-sparrow, Wilson's Snipe, Lapland Longspur, Tundra Swan, American Bittern, Bonaparte's Gull, Redhead, and Number One Maximum Sickness: Tufted Duck!  It was off the hook, brah.

American Tree Sparrow.  For some reason, we decided to stop the car and look at this sparrow out of the hundreds alongside the road.  Maximum Cool!

Steve just picked this bird out from like a mile away like it ain't no thang.  Cause he's so pro.  He's actually the Number 7 Birder.
